On this day, 01/11/1954 the voice of freedom echoed from the Aurès Mountains, as Algerians wrote with their pure blood the epic of independence and pride.
November was not merely a month on the calendar... it was the birth of a nation, an awakening of a dignity that colonialism had tried to erase.
Glory and eternity to the righteous martyrs,
who inscribed the name of Algeria upon the face of history with light and tears.
And Algeria will remain,
as they envisioned it... free, sovereign, and glorious forever.
