Title: Tiny Humans Requested? Yes. Plot: You are Ivar’s wife and pregnant with your first children. Today, you are feeling a lot more tired than usual and you cuddle up to Ivar, who finds it adorable. Word count: 613

It would be an understatement to say that Ivar was more protective of you now that you were with child. Ever since you found out he has been so sweet towards you, which is way different than his regular attitude. Then again, he was always sweet towards you, even before you got married. You especially love the moments when he strokes your belly with his hand and talks to the baby. You are currently in your sixth month of pregnancy and both you and Ivar couldn't wait to hold your children in your arms. If you getting pregnant was hard for Ivar to believe, than you having twins was even more incredible to him. He already had names in his head, but would never say it out loud to anyone, being the feared viking prince and all. You have been having all the symptoms of a regular pregnancy, like cravings and over exaggerated emotion levels at a time, crying for a small reason. But today you were feeling particularly sleepy, and since you had nothing better to do, with Ivar not letting you go out out of fear of something happening to you and your children, you decided to just glue yourself to him all day today.

He had some planning to do about the next raid he was planning with his brothers, and you found him sitting at the table in the main hall, with a map spread in front of him. You sit down next to him and wrap your arms around his left arm, resting your head on his shoulder. That caught his attention, breaking his focus on the map and looking over at you with those beautiful blue orbs he calls eyes. He smirked at how your own eyes were half open and he knew you were tired. "My love, why don't you go to sleep in our bed, it's much more comfortable than my shoulder?" He asks you as his hand goes up to stroke your cheek and he plants a small kiss on the top of your head. Being too tired to speak, you respond by snuggling even more over to him, your head now moving to the crook of his neck, making him chuckle. Unable to continue focusing on the planning mission, Ivar managed to set his hand free from your grip and wrap it around your back, and his other hand was stroking your belly.

"You will be really uncomfortable if you stay like this. How about you go to bed and I will be there in a few minutes, right after I figure out how I'm going to distribute my forces in this sea voyage?" He tried again to get you to go to sleep, but you were glued to him and not quite ready to let go. Another chuckle escaped Ivar's lips, and you could feel his chest vibrate as a result. He should know that there is no negotiating with you, especially now that you are with child. And so there was nothing Ivar could do other than agree to go to bed with you immediately. So you both walked over to your room now and headed straight to bed, snuggling up to one another, as Ivar stroked your hair and belly, helping you fall asleep even faster. Ivar smiled to himself, overwhelmingly happy that he was able to hold the love of his life in his arms and his soon to be born children. You were, without a doubt the best thing that ever happened to him, since he could remember. You and the tiny humans growing in your belly.
