Next to the Parish Church of Alegrete, we find another temple that is extramely difficult to photograph properly: the Chapel or Church of Misericórdia (Charity). Several sources place the construction of this house of God in the XVII Century, but the facade style is clearly from the XVIII Century.
Nowadays, this church is used as a mortuary chapel.
