it's a daily routine for both you and your yandere! househusband. he wakes you up early in the morning, then prepares your breakfast and lunch while you get ready. you would kiss him goodbye to leave for work after eating your first meal. at exactly 4:30 p.m., you get off work and arrive home at 5. during weekends that you don't have work, you both go on a date on a restaurant you haven't been before and stay at home during sundays to rest.
things started to change when your co-workers invited you to go shopping with them after work. yandere!househusband let you go then picked you up once you're done. two weeks later, a friend from college recognized you when you were walking to the train station. you called yandere!househusband to let him know you won't be able to make it for dinner. still, he saved your portion for later and picked you up again.
for months, he'd been patient. but your usual time of getting home by 5 p.m. keeps getting later than the last one. he felt uneasy. especially when strangers kept approaching you, trying to get your number until you show them your wedding ring. he's had enough. his last straw was when a man who couldn't take no for an answer tried to force himself on you. thankfully, yandere!househusband who got paranoid and went looking for you, saw you before it was too late. he made sure the criminal died a torturous death. all you've known was he's in prison.
it was supposed to be a continuous cycle of a simple yet happy life with him.
"i think, you should just stay home, honey. you don't have to do anything else. i'll do all the work." he said after he sat you down one night after dinner. "but—" he cut you off.
"please, y/n. i'm doing this for you, for us." you heard his voice in a desperate whisper, his hands shaking as he held yours. "i need to keep you safe. you're not safe out there. what would be of you if i wasn't around in time? i can't— i couldn't lose you, y/n." it was the first time you've seen him cry again, years aside your wedding.
it hurt you so much seeing him like this so you kissed him softly and gave in to his wish.
and so, your daily routine continued. but this time, you're in charge of your home and your yandere!husband works hard to earn money and provide you the life you deserve.
