He heard the knock at his door and cocked a brow, checking his phone to see who was there, using the camera function. He saw Aleki, well he saw him from like the chin down due to the man’s impressive height. He didn’t even get up, speaking out through the speaker, “Come on in.” He said and clicked the unlock button on his app. He was visible once Aleki would come in, just laying back on the couch. His eyes half-closed, he didn’t move at all. Just waiting for Aleki to come and join him. He wondered is he could talk the other into giving him a massage or helping him up the stairs to his room.

The brown building looked like shit. It was run down, the panels of the roof were half on and half littering the front (what would be if it wasn’t dried and dead) lawn. This was his place, these were his people - sort of. The pirate laughed as he tipped a near empty bottle of rum to his mouth and then raised his hands in triumph at the guy who just jumped out the window and did a backflip into a bush. 

“Thas what I’m fuckin’ talkin’ ‘bout!” Drowning the last of his bottle he placed a joint to his mouth and lit it with someone lighter he had stolen earlier that night. The show outside was growing boring and thus brought Araic to turn his attention to the inside once more. The place was packed full of people, it was a house split into two separate living space. A duplex of sorts, but both occupants were partaking in the thralls of throwing a large party. 

As he moved through the hallways to one of the main rooms with music blasting from both speakers and television, Araic continued to smoke and take in the fun atmosphere. Some chicks were walking around half naked and he wished they’d lose the little clothing they had left on. Heading for the couch to take a seat he picked up another bottle of - he wasn’t sure, whatever it was, it wasn’t as strong as he’d liked it to be. “Smirnoff” He said aloud to himself, shrugged, and then continued to drink it. “Out of the way, kid.” He used his thumb to signal to the guy to move and then took his seat, getting comfortable as his legs rested semi-open and relaxed.

“Yah ever heard of this shit?” He held the bottle as he spoke to the guy beside him, a perfectly rolled joint dangling from his lips.

it was a grueling drive from the town hall meeting to nate’s condo. while the blizzard had eased up the roads were a complete disaster, and a drive that usually took only five minutes took nearly fifteen. once they made it up to nate’s place he let out a sigh of relief, it was the first time he was able to relax since he had left earlier that night for the meeting. “i know you guys’ll make yourselves at home. there’s beer and other shit in the fridge if you want something to drink,” he offered them before going into his room to grab his supplies. 

nate was really excited to be spending this time with the two of them, it had been too long since they had been able to smoke and relax together and nate had missed them. he came back with everything and handed it to parker, “we all know you’re the best at getting this shit ready.” a small chuckle escaped his lips as he made his way over to the kitchen to grab a beer. he came back into the living room and sat next to aleki, throwing his arm around the other boy lazily, “i’m so fucking glad to be out of that building, i thought i was going to go crazy. i don’t know how anyone takes those things seriously they’re such a fucking joke. everyone was just trying to save face the whole time. except carreau, but that was predictable.” he popped open his beer and watched parker get everything ready.

He had told Aleki where to meet him and made his way down to the hotel’s tailor himself. It was mid-afternoon, the other was running a few minutes late but Cade didn’t care much, dressed in a casual suit himself. He stood at the entrance to the small shop. They didn’t have time to have a full suit made, but they could find one close and have it drawn in tonight to be ready for the Winter Ball tomorrow. He saw Aleki coming down the dark wooded hotel hallway and nodded in greeting to the tall blonde. 

“Come. Let’s get you sized and we’ll figure it out from there. Just based on your complexion, I am thinking something in a blue, but we’ll see.” He said with a nod. Cade had paused to look the man over from head to toe, “Suit is on me. I need my staff looking and feeling good tomorrow, it’s a gift to all of you anyway.” He said with a small shrug. Licking his lips as he looked over the other man, before turning to head into the shop, holding the door open for him. This would be the third suit Cade had purchased this week here. The owner was probably loving it at this point. 

What? Tea is nasty. Deal with it. Keep your dirty leaf water. 

But, I don’t like tea?

Again I ask, why would I need a kettle?
