hi, i was wondering if you know of any way to make the next and previous page buttons display as custom images? im currently using Vision (one of the free ones from tumblr) and nothing I'm doing is working, even just to change the text on the button, much less attempt to add an image. i know its not about a theme you made, but im trying to learn how to code by editing what i already have and i have no idea what im doing wrong. feel free to ignore if this isnt something you want to answer <3
the Vision theme is created and maintained by @april, so you would probably be better off asking her directly for support! i would need more info to figure out the issue as is (like what edits you're making rn that aren't having any effect), but since it's not my theme to begin with, i'd prefer to leave it to the creator

hello, im questioning whether im aro and was wondering if you could help? i dont know how to tell if im actually on the aro spectrum, or just have….. reeeeeeeallly high romantic standards or something.
my normal experience seems to be what one would call aromantic--i dont typically experience romantic attraction. even if i have a "crush", it seems to be different from what most people feel, because i lack the romantic aspect. i can feel aesthetic attraction as well as sensual/sexual, and i can also have feelings of admiration of someone's skills in there, but my "crushes" pretty much NEVER include the desire to be in a romantic relationship with someone, go on dates or stuff like that, and the thought of getting married or having a long term partner in the future is terrifying. i struggle to relate to people who put so much value in romance or the idea of a significant other, and have never really felt a strong desire to have one except because teens my age were "supposed to" be starting to feel like that (and i stopped once i realized my heart really wasnt in it and i was just hurting the people i was dating as well as myself). so with all of this, i would think yeah, must be aro! and the aro label usually feels good for me, its a way to communicate that i dont date and dont have any desire to. except there are is an exception. i've felt romantic attraction once in my life for a real person (and maybe a couple fictional characters, but im not sure if that counts, ive heard that aro people can crush on fictional characters sometimes?) and i dont know what that means. on one hand, it does confirm for me that my regular "crushes" are definitely not romantic. i can tell that much just by comparison. but, if i have felt romantic attraction to that one person and a few fictional characters, does that mean im not really aro and i just have really high standards? (probably worth mentioning that the person i felt this way towards was not outwardly special or traditionally attractive.) is there a word for this experience? can i still use the aro label?
sorry if this is a lot, i dont have any aro friends to ask about this. if you do answer, thank you in advance!
Hello! Thanks for writing to us. Before I answer your question, I'd like to remind you (and everyone reading this) that no label is supposed to fit 100%. The labels are there to help you define who you are and if you feel good using one, it doesn't matter if you don't fit the dictionary definition of said label. It belongs to you as much as it belongs to others using it.
Having say that, I can assure you you have nothing to worry about: there is, in fact, a label to describe your experience. I like to insist you're the only one that can decide which label is more appropriate for you, but I suggest you begin exploring what Greyromantic/Grayromantic is:
Describes a person who feels romantic attraction very rarely, weakly, unreliably or gains/loses attraction in unusual or unknown circumstances.
As you can see, this is not only an identity in itself, but also an umbrella term to describe people within the aro spectrum who feel romantic attraction.
AUREA has a fairly complete glossary with microlabels that can help you find a more appropriate term if you feel you need it, but if that doesn't help, you can totally continue to use aromantic or simply arospec to add the specifics of your experience without mentioning how they exactly manifest.

Is this what they would look like as a dessert (pretty accurate), what they would taste like as a dessert (i see how you got to some of these but disagree on a few fronts), what dessert they most want to be (question with a lot of moving parts) or what dessert you personally associate with them? Like what does this mean. Give me your sorting criteria before I respond lol
