Balduin was never meant to live—they were meant to die, on a sacrificial altar under a blood-orange sky, chosen as payment for their father’s arrogance. But fate—or Razmir, depending on who’s telling the story—had other plans. A clever swap between noble twins led to a twist the cult didn’t see coming. The boy they took was actually the girl. And they didn’t just play the part— they owned it. Renamed Balduin, they embraced their new role with chilling devotion, trained by zealots, shaped by ritual, polished into a divine blade masquerading as a gentle soul. Are they brainwashed? Blessed?
