My alarm goes off at 7:30 in the morning, and it’s not one of the smart alarm clocks that you can change the tone of, and it’s not on my phone so I can’t set multiple of them. It’s got the most grating tone in the WORLD (imagine the movie alarm clocks. Beep beep beep beep beep) and every time it goes off, it sets every cell in my body to defense mode, so naturally, I click it off as fast as possible.
However. This means that I have never let it run its full course to see how long the alarm will go for before automatically shutting off (where most alarms I’m used to will shut off at the minute mark).
I’ve let it scream on and on for half an hour, and it doesn’t turn off- but I know it does, because I get up before the alarm and leave the room only to come back at night and find it silent.
So my theory is that the alarm clock runs for about an hour before shutting itself off. And if it were a sentient being, I KNOW its thoughts would be “ah forget this. If she can sleep through me screaming at her for an hour she DESERVES to sleep in.” LOL
A radio that’s a toaster and an alarm clock.
