Alan Smithee (or Allen Smithee) was a pseudonym used by the DGA to signify that the director(s) involved with the film wish to disown the project due to either studio inference or the restriction of creative control. The Smithee name was then used instead of the director's.

Januar 2020 in Deutschland. Für Montag steht eine Geschäftsreise mit der DB an. Per Mail kommen die Reiseunterlagen vom Arbeitgeber. Buchungsbestätigung, schön mit allen Verbindungsdaten und einer Buchungsnummer für „Bahn Tix“. Hinweis der DB: „Das ist kein Fahrschein. Mit der Buchungsnummer können Sie die Bahn Tix an jedem DB Ticketautomaten ausdrucken“.
Also kurz mal das Internet konsultiert, ob ich die „Bahn Tix“ nicht auch in die DBNavigator-App laden kann. Nee, geht nicht 🤨 Bei Bahn Tix, dem Service für Geschäftsreisende, geht nur Ausdrucken am DB-Ticketautomaten, sagt die Webseite der DB. Aha 🤔
Also ab zum S-Bahnhof und hin zum DB-Ticketautomaten. „Ich werde in Kürze abgebaut“ informiert das Display und verweist auf die Vorzüge der DBNavigator-App.
Soll noch mal einer sagen, die Deutsche Bahn hätte keinen Humor …
