When do you Think they decided To sleep in One bed Together?
Pretty early actually. Because you see, they both LOVE having each other’s company at night.Â
Baxter always feels so safe and secure when he falls asleep in Alastor’s arms. He knows when he’s with Alastor, nothing can touch him. They can try but it won’t end well for them. It’s a huge comfort knowing he’s safe as can be and while before, he had found it difficult to relax enough to fall asleep, he can now do it with ease.Â
Alastor just loves to cuddle his gourami. He likes to watch him sleep and often does that more than sleeping himself. It’s so nice to see his beloved, who is all too often plagued by nerves and anxiety, so at ease. And it’s nice to see the little insomniac actually rest for a change.Â
That was how they started sleeping together in the first place. Alastor developed a habit of watching him sleep a little while before them. He likes to check in on Baxter now and then to make sure he’s fine and when he checks on him while he’s asleep, he just can’t look away.
Then one night, Baxter woke up and saw Alastor watching over him. All he did was lift the covers up and say, “What are you doing just standing there? Come here.” and Alastor got in without having to be told twice. They fell asleep in each other’s arms and after that, they were hooked.
It soon got to the point where they just wouldn’t sleep without each other. Why would they when without each other, their beds would be cold and lonely? Alastor often stays out late to “attend to business matters" and when he’s done with these, the last thing on his mind would be to return to his own room and his own bed. He can hardly wait to return to his Baxy and wrap his arms around him until they fall asleep, especially if these matters were particularly tiresome.Â
When Alastor’s away at night, Baxter won’t be able to sleep at all. He wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about where his partner is and what’s happening to him during the very moments he lies awake. He knows Alastor associates himself with people who are very dangerous and thinking about that will have him stressing about all the dangers his loved one could be in. He always ends up calling him at a ridiculous hour just to hear from him.Â
Nights like these will soon influence their decision to move in together. They hate being apart and there was no reason for them to be since they live in the same building. So really living together would be a no brainer for them both. They probably started sleeping in and the same bed together way before they started doing anything “intimate”.
