Al-Wakeel
And Allaah, from His Names is Al-Wakeel (the Trustworthy Disposer of Affairs) meaning: the One to Whom the affairs of His servants are entrusted, He the Perfect and Most High. So at-Tawakkul (placing trust and reliance) cannot be except upon Allaah, and it is not permissible to say, “I place my reliance in so-and-so”, because at-Tawakkul (trust and reliance) is worship, and worship cannot be except for Allaah.

A Test in Tawakkul
Sufficient for us is Allāh, and most excellent is He in Whom we trust.
Perhaps Allāh is testing to see NOT how great a patience you can observe, but how great a trust you can place in Him.
Especially if Allāh has rectified your Dīn and much of your Dunyā. He subḥānah might leave a gap in your affairs, so to speak. An unrectified gap. And that gap needs to be filled by you with tawakul (complete and total trust in Allāh). Should you fill it with reliance upon yourself or upon others or upon any other means, that gap will not be filled, and you’ll be back at square one. Until and unless you fill that gap with tawakul. Easier said than done. But you are to try, and try. And try.
"Look at the example of the Prophet Yusuf (as). He went to jail for years. ‘Where was Allah?’ Some may ask. Allah was there all along. Allah brought to Yusuf (as) the two prisoners. It was through the prison that he then interpreted the dream of the king, everyone knew he was innocent, and then he was reunited with his family. While from the outside it seems like a punishment, it is simply one of the stops on the road. The journey hasn’t ended. Having tawakkul (trust in God) is the difference between despairing in those moments and pushing through with a tranquil soul and hopefulness."
When you're looking for someone to trust with handling your affairs, (like giving them the power of attorney) you look for three things: 1- Someone You Trust 2- Has Experience 3- Cares About You If any of these traits aren't there, you'd be making a risky arrangement. We look for this from people, but they can't help us. People don't live forever, they could die any time, then what? Why not put your trust in Allah, His word and promise is the Truth. He has all the experience, and He (swt) loves you and wants the best for you. He is telling us to rely on Him, again amd again in the Quran. But we're determined to look for that from the creation. We'll never find it. Never.
