I am going to the anime expo this year! Here’s my cosplay schedule for this year:

So I’m not 100% sure if I’m going the first day but if I do, I will cosplay Scrafty! I will also go the pokemon meetup which is at site 9 from 5-6pm on day 3 also!! I will most likely be wandering the artist alleys and exhibition halls because it’s the first couple days and I wanna get commissions!

Day 3 I will cosplay decidueye from last year and also attend that pokemon meetup again! I may or may not have time to go to the BNHA movie premier! 

Day 4, depending on if I can or not, I will cosplay my oc, emmet! It’s the last day, so I will most likely be showing off my cosplay in the main lobbies :)

So, this is a film that I worked on for my final AP japanese project! It took 4 weeks in total, 2 weeks for writing and voice acting, and 2 weeks for animation! I honestly really tired myself out for the animation(I ended up staying until 5 am)

 The story was inspired by a classic japanese tale called Urashima Taro, in which we proceeded to make a lot of japanese puns....

 My friend Maddy did most of the writing(in English), my friend Saori did the translation, and I did the animation! It was a grueling process because at some point I could not export the god damn thing!! The credits n stuff are in the video but I'll just put them here too

So, I applied to CSSSA again because I honestly just really loved it last year and I want to improve my art!

Assignment A

I made this piece to express self-love and acceptance. I always strive to be optimistic and accepting of the things that society expects me to feel ashamed of, such as body weight and appearance. I take my insecurities and glorify them because they are a part of who I am as a person.  I feel that a unique thing about me is that I can learn to love my body regardless of what others think, and I like the fact that I can live with these “ugly” things and still be happy.

Assignment B

I absolutely love marine life. Everything about marine life fascinates me, from the coral communities to the depths of the ocean floor. The ocean inspires everything, from my creature designs to worldbuilding ideas. Recently, I volunteered at the Aquarium of the Pacific, and I have never felt so connected to the community before. Volunteering at the aquarium has been such an incredible experience that really took me back on a nostalgia trip because I’ve been there so many times as a kid. Being a part of the Aquarium has really revived my passion of knowledge for the animals of the ocean, and I created this piece as a representation of the community of people that all love the ocean!
