OKAY SOOOO

Not being lore accurate at all (I feel as if I should preface) butttt in this little au, Stelle and Caelus (will shorten them to 'the twins') are the biological children of Akivili, before THEY acesnded. (though... i havent come up with how or why the twins also became immortal, but whatever man.) Following Aki, and before the express was created, they all trailblazed the universe with no direct goal in mind.

(Little side comment...When the Astral Express was made, the twins made some silly drawing of a rabbit they named 'Pom-Pom,' because "we can't be on the train all the time, someone has to watch over it!" Akivili adored this idea and created Pom-Pom! )

blah blah fun happy family stuff...but then something drastic happens to the twins, resulting in their deaths. Specifically, what? I haven't come up with a reasonable idea, but the major point is that it was due to the selfishness of humanity. Their deaths brought Akivili to doubt the path of trailblazing. THEIR anger eventually grew beyond comprehension, to the point a stellaron formed in THEIR body. Knowing of the outcome if an Aeon were to succumb to such a disaster, THEY wished to use THEIR own life to revive the twins.

Depending on the chosen main character (for simplicity, I picked Caelus), they received 'the heart of trailblazing.' Or, Akivilis' heart. Maintaining the will and love for exploration, but having no recollection of the past.

Stelle received 'the mind of the trailblaze." Understanding the importance and why they trailblaze, but having no innate desire to search for it.

'The spirit of the trailblaze' was the last piece of Akivili, and where the stellaron was formed.

To match up with the 4.0 story reveal, when Caelus awoke from his death, he had no understanding of where he was but just knew he had to search for something. Joining the stellaron hunters, his main goal was to find and understand that unknown feeling, at any cost. (Because of the twins' connection with heart and mind, Caelus had such a painful feeling that something was missing. He could not remember such an important part of his life; it was driving him mad.)

Well, his curiosity killed him again lol. This is where the beginning of hsr begins, where the husk of Akivilis' children are just puppets. (How? idk) The stellaron implemented in either of the twins is 'the spirit of the trailblaze'. Thus, while the story progresses, the mc has both the heart and the spirit, but not the mind. (Which is why in Amphoreous, when seeing the other mc, they ask the mc "why do you trailblaze?" They are trying to get their sibling to remember, but without intervening with their destiny and purpose.)

Some side ideas that I like but kinda can't connect:

Akivili asked Nanook to kill THEM, as THEY cannot kill themselves. Nanook hesitates, but agrees. (I think Nanook ascended after Akivilis 'death,' but I like to use the official video of Aha stating Nanook slayed Akivili. While most likely just the writing of fan fiction, I want to believe it has some truth to it.)

To add, I feel as if Nanook has deep regrets, and THEIR anger turns more violent because humanity killed their own Aeon. This is why THEY are the first Aeon to glance at the mc, to make sure they do not follow Akivilis' death.

It is conflicting because i wish to make the au connect to the main story, so there has to be a way that literally the entire universe forgot about the twins exsistance. Maybe the Finality had a part in it.

Akivili only truly ascended because THEY finally understood the importance of life because of the twins. They are so loved by Akivili that the other Aeons can't even think about hurting them.
