Today's task for #jcfmarch is to share my #FavoriteLoveTriangle. I can't really think of any love triangles that I LOVE-love that were a girl choosing between two guys, but a girl choosing to be with BOTH guys? Laurell K. Hamilton has the best polyamorous relationships in her books! 😄❤ . . . . And my favorite threesome? Merry Gentry, Doyle, and Frost. *le sigh* Be still my heart. (Especially about Doyle.) ❤❤❤ . . . . We meet both Doyle and Frost in Merry Gentry series Book One: A Kiss of Shadows. 😍❤ . . . . At the time I took this photo, Max was trying to make a hole in his newest toy, an early birthday present from Grandma. This toy is proving hard to defeat, though, so he hasn't managed to pull out much of its stuffing. 😄😍❤ . . . . Before I close, now that I'm thinking about it, Clean Sweep by Ilona Andrews had what looked like a true love triangle in it. But only from the men's side of things. Dina always preferred Sean. This made me happy! 😄❤ . . . . And if you thought I'd pick the Anita Blake series, also by Laurell K. Hamilton, as the books with my favorite love triangles in them (I nearly did), seeing as how this series features Anita and Jean-Claude vs Richard, Anita and Micah and Nathaniel, Anita and Nathaniel and Damien... It's true that I LOVE this series, but I'm not really enamored of Anita's main men. My favorites? We're not even an hour into Day 6 of #jcfmarch, but today's task is to share my favorite #hero so I am sharing this photo now, and then I'll try for sleep since it makes me sad. 😢 . . . . My favorite heroes are my Dad, who passed away in 2014 (😭), my Max, who is now asleep beside me on the bed, and Doyle from the Merry Gentry series by @official_lkhamilton, who is introduced in book one, A Kiss of Shadows, which is in the inset with my Max. 😍 . . . . My true favorite bookish "hero" is actually my husband, Dr. Harry Stratton Trevelyan from Absolutely, Positively by Jayne Ann Krentz, but since Doyle would likely be able to kill Harry while blindfolded and with his hands tied behind his back, I'll go with Doyle. (Incidentally, I would bet on Doyle in a match-up with ANY of my favorite book "heroes," including Beast Lord Curran, werelion, from the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews.) 😄❤ . . . .
