I love Than and the way he’s handling Akin suddenly coming back into his life. Akin left him—just vanished one day with no explanation. I can’t imagine how much that hurt, and clearly it still does. But instead of shutting down or running from it when they cross paths again, Than goes, “No. What you did sucked. I deserve an explanation.” And then proceeds to pull full Looney Tunes–level antics to get the truth out of him.

Longing and warmth and family and love... ughhhh, they destroy me. I just know they're, like, two sincere and deep conversations away from a resolution but Akin just doesn't want to talk.

Not only is this miscommunication the series, but it's also solidifying itself as Crossing Boundaries and Ignoring Clear Nos the series, and I am getting irritated with it.

Oh, my tiny nightmares. I love them. This is gonna be a rough story of them coming back together because Kin definitely has several subscriptions worth of issues about himself and their relationship... but that can be solved bit by bit and Than seems like he won't give up easily.

So we've got age gap, mysterious disappearance, now both single dads and coming back together but only partially wanted? Y'all. Y'all. This is wild. If they can make this work I am love every second.

So... basically, Akin was completely convinced Than was cheating and decided to solve that by ghosting him with his child? And somehow the serial cheater that he thinks Akin is... has also never done anything or dated anyone since they broke up. The narrative of this show and their relationship and who they are is... fascinating to me. So far. But it's also getting frustrating because the two POVs we get are so, so different. I just wanna know the truth!
