A/n: yes I was inspired by the brits but who can blame me, was just gonna be an aitch fic but then I saw ginge 🤭. On another note I don’t usually write rpf and I haven’t done so before on this account. It always makes me feel a bit.. I dunno weird? But I love reading them so idk but just wanted to say that because idk if this is gonna be a regular thing?

Ginge:

-You’re both getting ready in the same hotel suite and he keeps pretending he’s calm because he’s “just presenting” but he’s pacing while you’re getting your hair done.

-Every five minutes he glances over at you and goes quiet for a second because you look unreal. Does have some restraint and listens when your team tell him off for kissing your cheek

-when your team clear out and you have a few minutes alone he helps zip up your dress and goes suspiciously soft for a moment, hands lingering at your waist before he leans down and kisses your shoulder.

-Before you leave, he grabs your face gently:
“No matter what happens, yeah? I’m proud of you” (He absolutely has no doubt that you’re winning though.)

-You arrive together. Cameras immediately clock that you’re matching in subtle ways.

-He acts cocky for the cameras, arm around your waist, whispering jokes in your ear to make you laugh mid photo.

-When interviewers ask about him presenting an award you’re nominated for, he grins “Listen, I’m impartial… mostly”

-Someone asks what he’ll do if you win. “I’m legally required to act surprised”

-The way he looks at you when you’re answering questions? So soft. Proud. Slightly smug. Definitely gets clipped and used to tease him

-His hand never leaves your back.

-It’s finally time for the first category you’re nominated in.

-He walks out on stage, all confidence, crowd cheering. He makes a joke about knowing “one of these nominees unfortunately”

-When he opens the envelope, he pauses for dramatic effect. His eyes flick up to where you’re sitting.

-There’s the tiniest smirk. And the award goes to…”

-He says your name. You freeze in your spot not knowing how to react

-He’s already clapping, trying to look professional but he’s grinning so hard it ruins the act. Definitely does his classic loud laugh

-As you walk up, he grabs your hand to help you up the stairs. It looks gentlemanly but it’s purely because he can’t keep his hands off you with how proud he is of you

-He whispers in your ear when he hugs you “Told you.”

-The hug lasts longer than it should. He lightly squeezes your hand before stepping aside so you can have your moment.

-You thank your team, your family and then you turn to look at him. He tries to look neutral.

-You thank him for “being my calm in the chaos” and for all his support through everything

-The camera cuts to him, he does the little nod. Jaw tight because he’s emotional.

-Twitter explodes.

-The second you’re offstage, professionalism is gone. He picks you up fully off the ground.

-“YOU DID THAT”

-Takes about 400 photos of you holding the award.

-Later in the night, you win again. And again.

-He’s in the crowd this time, standing before your name is even fully announced.

-Whistling. Clapping above his head.

-When you win your third award, he looks genuinely stunned. Maybe has red, tear rimmed eyes

-Overcome with emotion on your third award before you go to the stage you turn to him and snog him to which he immediately leans into

-He gets carried away and places his hands on your waste you have to pull yourself away and remind yourself of what your supposed to be doing

-At the afterparty, you’re holding multiple awards and he refuses to let you carry them.

-At some point he pulls you aside, quieter now.
“I’m so proud of you it’s actually stupid” Soft forehead kisses all night

-Later, he absolutely posts a blurry photo of you mid laugh with the caption:
“Told you, so proud”

Aitch:

-You’re in a hotel suite overlooking the city, both of your teams in and out of rooms.

-He keeps pretending he’s calm but keeps checking what you’re wearing. “You’re not outshining me, yeah?” With a massive grin on his face. Meanwhile he picked his fit based on yours.

-Would keep being scolded by your makeup team for kissing your cheek or lips and potentially ruining your look. Would not care though how’s he meant to stay away from you when you look that good

-“You look unreal”

“You’ve said that five times”

“And I’ll say it again”

-He films a little blurry mirror clip of you both and posts it with no caption except a heart.
Internet LOSES it. Will obviously take hundreds more of you but keeps them for himself

-He steps out the car first shielding you from the cameras view as he helps you out the car and fixes your dress

-Automatically holds your hand

-The interviewers on the carpet obviously try to squeeze as much info out of you both. At some point you separate and are interviewed separately

“Are we confirming this then?” He stares just a little further down the carpet where you’re laughing and talking in your interview, he can’t help but light up himself “Yeah, that’s my girl”

-Social media explodes in real time.

-when you meet up again you keep fixing his collar and he keeps touching your lower back like he physically cannot not be touching you.

-When photographers shout:

“Kiss!”

He leans in and whispers something that makes you laugh instead. That photo becomes the photo.

-He’s up for several awards but you’ve been invited to announce one of the categories he’s up for this year

-You’re more nervous about the thought of him not winning than actually going up on stage to announce it

-He keeps pep talking you saying you’ll do brilliant. He takes one of your hands in his to stop you fidgeting

-when the cameras pan around the celebrity’s in the crowd he’s always oblivious, he’s too focused on you instead

-When it’s time for you to announce the award you slip away from Aitch with one last worrying look from you while he blows you a kiss

-You walk on stage in full presenter mode. You put on the act of being calm, professional and glowing. The camera cuts to him in the audience.

-He looks so proud it’s actually sickening.

-You finally say “And the award goes to…”

Pause. You open the envelope.

“Aitch”

-You couldn’t hold back your excitement a massive grin on your face

-The place erupts.

He looks genuinely shocked for half a second. Then Instead of walking normally to the stage, he runs. But not to the mic. To you.

-He lifts you off the ground and spins you in front of everyone. The audience is screaming. He whispers: “You’re my good luck charm”

-The mic only picks up your gasp of surprise

-You hand him the award while laughing because this was NOT in rehearsal.

-He does his speech, thanks his team, his family… “And obviously her. Wouldn’t be here without her, man”

-Camera cuts to you trying not to cry.

Backstage:

-He keeps the award in one hand and you in the other.

-He absolutely refuses to let go of you.

-The backstage photos are even more intimate than the carpet ones. Because he cannot keep his hands off you

-He keeps kissing your temple.

-And when your finally alone and the excitements not worn off yet he pulls you in to a very passionate and possessive kiss

“I’m kidding, I blew up for posting a twitter thread on the celebrities I’d give the sloppiest head too, can I say that? I don’t think so but oh well, then I blew up on TikTok for posting a drunk video of me sobbing over a messy breakup, then again for another messy breakup, and then again for another”

“What are you most nervous for” one of the producers ask

“I think I might be the most nervous for food challenges and anything involving tight spaces, i am not good with either of them” she grimaces “I have ocd so any food that has the slightest chance of making me ill, yeah not doing it. I think I’m also nervous for camp dinners Because, and don’t get me wrong, I cannot cook but best believe I am inspecting all of it to make sure it’s actually cooked. Ohh and the camp outfits, I do not suit the outdoorsy look”

“What’s one thing you’ll do good with in the jungle”

“This one’s easy, thirsting over the other camp mates, I’m only partially kidding with that one, I’m also gonna be good with animals, i love snakes and all the unusual ones that you see on this show, except crabs, never put me near crabs” Amilie stated with a straight face, shaking her head

“Things you’ll miss and won’t miss in the jungle”

“My phone, I’m definitely missing that, it’s practically glued to my hand at all times so it’s gonna be pretty weird not texting or taking photos or watching true crime documentaries every two seconds” she shrugs casually, holding up her pinkie that has an obvious dent in it from where she held her phone often “see! I think the thing I won’t miss, coincidentally, is actually social media. I think it’ll do me some good to be away from the idealisation of social media and the criticism on everything”

“How would you describe yourself for the viewers who haven’t seen you before”

“Uh the first word I can think of is unhinged, I say what’s on my mind no matter what. I was that girl in school who had one of them anonymous accounts that spread all the gossip I had heard, just look at my twitter for proof. With caution though. I’m also very stupidly friendly with people, no sense of danger in me. I once befriended this homeless guy on a night out and the following week it was in the news that he was actually using homelessness as a ruse for trafficking women so…”

“What’s a life skill you’ll bring to the jungle”

“Oh honestly?” Amilie grimaces “well I can’t cook, microwave meals and pot noodles are what I live off. Um I guess I’m pretty creative, I can make fun out of any situation but I did also do Duke of Edinburgh in school so if there’s direction trials I’ll be okay, and I’m pretty good at lighting fires”

“What made you say yes to being in the jungle?”

“Fun question, I suppose the main one is to prove to myself I can do it, I’ve been to put it plainly, privileged my whole life. Like only went on fancy holidays in four or above star hotels. The most outdoorsy thing I have done since school is go hiking and even they’re like guided hikes so I’ve never been on my own with nature. Plus my mummy said, bless her heart, that if I ever got the chance to do something like this then I’d be stupid not too. So, I’m doing this for her, through and through” she smiles softly, her eyes wet with unshed tears
