A little more than friends, a little less than anything else. (Part 3)
i feel like this is a fail HAHAHA
"Takamina-chan" Acchan sauntered over to where Takamina was seating. "Okay. You know what, we'll be friends on the condition that I'll talk to you when I want to and you'll stop calling me Takamina-chan. Deal?" Takamina snapped. Acchan paused a little to ponder at Takamina's sudden attitude change, doing a slight lipbite. "Okay." In that instant, the bell had rang, signifying the start of school. Takamina was furiously jotting down notes until a piece of paper got passed to her. "Takamina-chan Minami-san, since you said that I can't talk to you unless you wanted to talk to me, but this considers as writing, and not talking so this should be okay right? You haven't told me who is that girl. And who is this Aimi? Is it the girl in your photoframe? I think we do have similar eyes." Takamina rolled her eyes. She knew the girl wrote Takamina-chan on purpose and cancelled it out. This girl was serioisly giving her a bad headache.
She scribbled a messy 'shut up' and sent the paper back. Before she even reverted back to jotting notes, a reply had came. "I won't. Just like how I won't give up on you." Little did Acchan know, she had managed to move the stone girl's heart.
----
As time went by, Acchan slowly metled down Takamina's cold exterior.
with her warm personality. It took about one year for Acchan to finally get close to Takamina, and they were almost best friends. "Say, Takamina-chan, what are we?" Acchan gently gazed into Takamina's eyes. A few days ago, she had just confessed to Takamina. She had accepted the fact that Acchan liked her, but neither were doing anything. "Us? Friends, I guess. Close friends if you want." Takamina gave a cheesy grin. The gleam in Acchan's eyes had diminished significantly, as she knew they wouldn't even come close to being best friends.
Of course, Takamina was oblivious to Acchan's feelings.
"What is Aimi to you?" Acchan couldn't help but to ask. Even if she knew she would get hurt by the answer.
There was a slight pause.
"We're a little more than friends, a little less than anything else."
Takamina smiled fondly upon reminiscing the times she shared with Aimi,
be it a long time ago.
Acchan's heart sank, having heard that from Takamina.
After all, the spot next to Takamina was for Aimi.
