aiballposting. it's a bit of a shame it was so clouded by despair/disaster becuase like. in concept. the mental image of yusaku learning ai's back by having a tall, handsome guy who dresses like a vampire(and has the main tell that it IS ai be. little ai-shaped earrings) show up at his shitty apartment is really funny. we're back. we love you Very Much. also we gave roboppi a human body and transed his gender. like i feel like that couldve been a hilariously large shock to the system.

aiball are perfect for each other for a lot of reasons but one that's funny by the end is that it's. guy who will tank social interactions to not be around them/guy who will throw away the rest of the world for their partner. like yusaku left All his old life behind to go search for ai too. that they can be mutually a bit antisocial is just fun. probably infuriating couple to double date with but if they're happy with each other-

thinking abt aiball today and something fascinating with it is. i'd call it a strong relationship where the love is there but like. there's sort of a gap in understanding for the entire duration of the show. like yusaku really cannot read ai or figure out what he's up to until it's too late, and ai abuses that for...again, the entire length of the show. i think yusaku might not have walked into that final duel if he knew it was an elaborate suicide attempt. ai can manipulate him nearly without fail 100% of the time, it just shifts to being for love. but ti is fascinating that it is a sweet/meaningful dynamic, just...one where communication is never fully There

easily funniest part of aiball is that there is a height difference bc like. we see with roboppi, soltis bodies don't have fixed height. ai chose to be taller than yusaku. presumably this is a side effect of bieng an avid drama watcher but it's still funny that we had to have done this intentionally
