"esra keeps doing shit by modifying the past" halit is also modifying the past according to his individual desire and no one is complaining about it?? Do you know why? Because that's what we want. That's what moves the story. Do you really want this girl to stay put and make the decision to go back home instead of trying to figure out where the hell her mom and dad are and why she was sent to a different time?
I understand Ahmet's supporters, but Esra has been through a lot of shit in this life too. Ahmet was not the only one who suffered in this story. I will be defending my girl Esra forever.
Ahmets story is truly so devastating and possibly even more complex than we think and I believe we still have plenty of things to uncover about him in season 3 of Midnight at the pera palace.
We all see his trauma that stems from his ‘mother’s’ suic*de and the fact that he never got to know his father. In fact this is the very issue that affects him when he when he passes through the Gateway of truth
We also saw how he basically lost Lili not once but TWICE (they seem to part ways at the end of season 2)
But I think a lot of us forget he served in WW1. How did that affect him? How did that contribute to Ahmet as a character ?
Additionally I have doubts on Ahmet’s parentage. Firstly, in season one , Sonya her self used the Gateway of truth and looses the baby. Perhaps that was her price to pay. But wasn’t that baby Ahmet ? Or do Halit and Sonya conceive Ahmet later on? But when ? Because after Esra leaves in season one Halit follows soon after.
Is it possibe that we are missing something? What if Ahmet isn’t Sonya’s child but rather Esra ? Or what if Ahmet himself has a deceptive heritage just like Esra did
Maybe I’ve missed something but yeah I doubt Sonya is his bio mother and that we’ve seen the last of his story.
