I have played Veilguard only once - and feel like that was one time too many - so I'm very vague on the details, but...

He intended to move Elgar'nan and Gilain'nain to a different prison, right? So... Out of the Black City? And then he wanted to drop the Veil, right?

But... The Black City is blighted?!

And the prison walls are still tied to the Evanuris? Or not anymore then? Because he had no intention to kill them? Or did he? Afterwards, I mean? After tearing down the Veil.

Would he then have killed the two remaining dragons? Or did he think this new prison would sever the connection between the Dragons and the Evanuris? Come to think of it: What happened to Mythal's dragon?!

What happens to the Darkspawn? They are still in the Deep Roads. Millions of them.

Did Solas intend to just... I don't know... live with random darkspawn attacks forever?

Make it make sense! In Tresspasser he said "The Evanuris are imprisoned *forever*."

So he intended to do nothing about them?! Just down with the Veil and then what? See if the titans wake up like the one in the Descent almost did?
