I was shocked and felt an immense sense of sadness that this poor woman felt the need to hide in public bathrooms to feed her baby. I explained to her that Iâm also a Mum and offered to sit outside with her to breastfeed, in the hopes of showing a little support. Her response? âThanks, but I would rather do it here. At least I wonât get looks of disgust from strangers.â All I can say is, shaming mothers for breastfeeding in public is not only unnecessary, itâs cruel. As if breastfeeding isnât challenging enough, without the judgement and scrutiny that comes along with it? From complete strangers no less? I think we all need to judge less and show a little more acceptance. And if breastfeeding in public does happen to bother you? Thatâs your opinion and you have a right to it. However, itâs not your right to judge and put shame upon those that do đ€± Be kind people! âđŒ . . . . . . #breastfeeding #motherhood #babiesofig #normalizebreastfeeding #fedisbest #breastfeedingmama #breastfedbaby #babiesofinstagram #newborntwins #newborn #babiesofig #childofig #childofig #motherhoodrising #supportbreastfeeding #momlife #womenempowerment #mumlife #empowerment #newbornbaby #darlingmovement #simplymamahood #kindnessmovement #babyboy #babygirl #parenting #honestmotherhood #uniteinmotherhood #aheadofthecurve
