Based on Solas’s armor I’m guessing he is, in fact, in Tevinter in search for more old magic and elvhen artifacts. He is wearing elven armor with leather accents (containing sharpened, leaf metalwork). I’m getting elvhen with a Tevinter influence, here.
Also, the fact that he is now wearing elements of black in his wardrobe officially solidifies him as The Big Bad Guy™️. But I think something darker lies on the horizon.
