Intertwined

Had this drawn for mermay but then car crash and just COULD NOT settle on Bastian’s tail.

Done at the suggestion of Whooness who asked for Bastian as a mer, meanwhile ‘The Boyfriend” Jazz came with.

So yeah obviously I’m one of those that makes mertails VERY long and serpentine but also somewhat prehensile.

Bastian’s colors are based off a scorpionfish, and he is just as venomous (note the folded spines on his arm) while his tailfin mimics purple fan coral. A deepsea to shallow reefs adapted mer.

This isn't based on any specific character but a mix of Tudor and hip-hop fashion. His top in particular is mimicking armor while he has a 'half-down hoodie' to kinda give the look of those poofy sleeves.

Broadway Bares Jazz

So in addition to Broadway Backwards (which is more for the singers) Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS  also does a show in June called Broadway Bares (NSFW) which is for the dancers to show their own chops. Since Jazz was always meant to be more of a dancer than a singer.... Enjoy sexy sexy Jazz, with his ballet shoes. This is based on the Dick Grayson Variant cover for Robin #1 2021

Jazz and musicals make a comeback!

So Get Down is my favorite song from the musical SIX (warning flash effects in link) It’s just a really fun song with great energy and one I could see Jazz doing for Broadway Backwards.

Well in the actual show (No flashes here) there’s a point (1:53) that there’s a tear away to a sexier costume for dear Anne Cleves. So I had to come up with something approcitely hilarious and sexy for Jazz so given the theme of the song and Anne’s German origin I thought sexy lenderhosen was a win.

Yes another Jazz cause this is just the year of musicals and that is his job. So this time we have Jazz performing Helpless from Hamilton ala Broadway Backwards.  Randomly I had a specific pose in mind for this but could not find a reference so this is based on a clip of Donald Duck of all people.
