I write primarily adult books as my current WIP is an adult paranormal mystery and it features mainly adult characters in their mid-twenties to early thirties, especially from the MC, love interest, and antagonist. Also, since the overall plot of my novel features a serial killer, content in terms of violence is prevalent throughout as well. 

So what age category do you primarily write in and would you consider writing outside your preferred age category?

I've considered writing YA novels before I came up with the idea for my current WIP.

For me, when it comes to reading, I am a lot more varied than writing. 

As I mentioned before, I prefer writing adult novels as the majority of my characters are adults and the content of my novel's plot and theme are a lot darker.

But when it comes to reading, I read all kinds. I've been reading more adult novels lately, but I also read YA, and Middle-Grade novels.

So, what kind of novels do you read?
