Michael is curled on his side, nursing the latest injury he's sustained. Typically, Father didn't go as hard as he could. It's unlike him to actually cause a fracture, it brought attention and unwanted questions.

But it wasn't a typical situation, was it?

Michael betrayed his trust, the only thing that his Father truly gave him.

"Michael," the voice is more insistent, the door creaks as his younger sibling leans on the door, "I wanna see."

"What?" Michael snaps, not even sitting up yet, "What could you possibly want to see?"

Elizabeth slinks into the room, a smile on her face as she kicks the door shut.

"I want to see what else Daddy did to you," she's not asking.

"No," he sits up finally, leaving his injured arm to the side as he swings his legs over the side of his bed, "It's not for you to know, Liz."

"Oh no?" She tilts her head- Michael hates when she does that. It's too similar to their Father's mannerisms. "I said I want to see."

Michael scoffs, standing up to push her out of his room. She sucks in a breath, as if she's about to yell. He slaps a hand over her mouth and she bites him.

He jerks his hand back, rubbing his palm.

"I'll tell Daddy you're not being a good brother," she's smiling as she backs Michael towards the bed, "And then he'll break your ankle next."

"He wouldn't."

Michael's not even sure of that anymore.

"You didn't think he'd break your wrist."

He looks away.

"I can't hurt you like he did. Can't you just be good for me?"

"You shouldn't be talking like that," he whispers after a beat of silence, "You're too young. You don't know what that means."

"You're stubborn," she huffs, "I've seen how you play with Daddy. I see how he punishes you."

She tugs at his pants, "He takes these off. I didn't know we had the same parts, Mikey."

"Stop, Liz-" he doesn't push her away. He knows she'll start to scream, and if Father...

He lets his mind trail off, his attention caught when she gets his pants down to his thighs.

"You're so lame," Elizabeth says as she runs a hand over his thigh. She digs a nail into a healing cut, "Daddy said you had new ones."

"I don't, he lied," Michael's voice is strained as she tries to reopen one. It's easy, the girl has sharp nails that he's sure their Mother takes excellent care of.

"Are you saying Daddy lied?" Elizabeth's head snaps up, almost unnervingly fast.

"Take it back."

Michael goes quiet. There's nothing she hates more than quiet.

"You're the worst." She drags her nails down, scratching him as she moves to finish taking his pants off. "You're my least favorite brother."

She only gets more agitated without any response. She slaps his thigh, watching him recoil. And when that hardly gets her a response- aside from his stifled gasp- Elizabeth goes further.

She drags his boxers down and scoffs at the sight.

"Yuck, you're all hairy down here. I don't know why Mama lets you get like this."

He kicks her away, finally, and shuts his legs.

"What is wrong with you?!" He shouts, then immediately puts a hand over his mouth.
