“I got you something else,” he confesses, turning away from the sink. She narrows her eyes at him.

“What is it?”

Peter just smiles at her and goes back to his backpack. It jangles a little when he picks it up, without the book in there to take up space.

“Peter,” MJ sighs impatiently.

He turns so she can’t see what he’s reaching inside for.

“Shut your eyes,” he says. It’s not harsh enough to be an instruction, like they played around with on that night. Not yet.

I saw this and thought, hey! I know those author notes!

wednesday: name a fic which you have posted which you think is underrated?

I don’t know that I get to claim any of my Spider-Man fics as underrated. Sure, we’d all like to have more eyes on our work and more love from readers (comment, people!), but I think I’ve been pretty lucky.

What I will do is recommend one of my less-read fics (different from underrated, as underrated hints at the relationship between hits and kudos/comments). If you’re down for an E-rated (more for the sex than the fighting) Fight Club AU, try Queens Club!

january: what was the first fic you posted this year?

I posted the first chapter of Boyfri(endgame) on February 1st, but since that one’s still ongoing, the first completed fic I posted this year was Slow Mover, for Valentine’s Day!

hours: longest wip or completed fic?

At the moment, my longest fic is my Riverdale western, Sweetwater Boundary, which is ~117,000 words. For the MCU fandom, it’s Affinity War, at ~102,000. BUT my Spideychelle Pride and Prejudice AU (For Now, We May Remain Silent) is going to pass both of those. I’m estimating ~170,000 words by the time I’m finished this WIP.
