btw guys i'm finally caught up on sherlock if anyone wants to chat about it (wow! i just...i mean it was good, but i also have feels re: sherlock vs elementary and all that)
also health update stuff
okay guys so remember my computer spill? it turns out it can't be fixed. which would be really upsetting but i've been having a bit of a huge mental health crisis right now which kind of overshadowed it (i am feeling better for now, yay). all indications are the harddrive is fine though. so here are my options:
a) buy a new Macbook and switch the harddrive into the new computer because i don't have any of the progams Windows etc...they all came to me through uni which i've graduated so switching the harddrive would save the programs, if i used a new harddrive that would extra expense re: the programs
b) buy a (significantly) cheaper PC that comes with Windows and everything and just have Best Buy or whatever transfer the data
i'm not really that concerned re: graphics, the only game i play is the Sims (which is quite data and graphic heavy so that's something) and mostly using for the Internet, pictures, video streaming etc
does anyone who knows more about computers than me or whose just made the choice themselves have any suggestions?
