If there are any fans of the series on here, a comic adaptation of Mage Errant was just announced! It's being produced by Aethon Press partnered with art studio Laurel Pursuit, and I'm so psyched about it! Expect it in a comic app near you!

If you haven't read Mage Errant, it's a coming of age progression fantasy series that follows the adventures of Hugh of Emblin, a young student mage with no discernible talent who can barely cast any spells, has no friends, and has more anxiety than he can shake a stick at. Until, of course, he apprentices to an extremely unusual mage, and gets swept up into dangerous adventures involving Machiavellian politics, magical cities, and more kaiju than you can- or should- shake a stick at. (I highly, highly discourage shaking sticks at kaiju. Not a great idea.) Mage Errant features found family, a neurodiverse protagonist, tons of queer characters, an overly detailed hard magic system, and dummy thicc worldbuilding.

No cool art or anything to show y'all yet, alas, but getting my stories in comic form really is a dream come true for me! I spent years trying to break into comics before I first started writing Mage Errant, and I never gave up on that dream, so this is such a huge deal for me. I can't wait until I get to see my characters in comic form. Though, what I'm even more excited about?

The stage when I've finally have seen the art, and the public hasn't yet, so I get to gloat about it to fans. I'm impatient to feast on their impatience.
