art dump! mostly some revamped ocs that i need to make bios for :3 and rin because rin just has to be here always

(that nobody asked for). 

Before you question how I came up with these dumb things, it was Bokuto’s fault. 

Kuroo pulls you into his arms and says, “I’m sorry you’re having a rough day, babe.” He doesn’t realize just how sad you actually are until you start sobbing into the front of his shirt, and then he says “Oh wow, that’s BIG sad,” and laughs a little. Through an awkward combination of sniffles and giggles, you have to keep telling him to stop laughing at you while he peppers the top of your head with kisses and says, “Let’s work on getting you some more serotonin. Okay?” 

Sugawara takes your tear-stained cheeks in his palms and pulls you towards him. He wipes away the wet lines softly with his thumbs, and coos little phrases like, “It’s okay sweetheart, I’m here.” His voice is soft and pure, and it helps you calm. He kisses you on the forehead and as he pulls away, his chocolate orbs flash with a sinful little sparkle. Then, in a honey-sweet voices he says to you, “Now, tell me who I have to murder.”

Oikawa lets you cry into the front of his sweater while he runs his fingers through your hair gently. He hums a soft little tune of nothing, and the vibrations in his chest begin to soothe you, until your erratic breaths finally slow and align with his. Oikawa would hold you forever if that’s what you wanted, but once you are calm, you pull away and thank him for being there for you. With a little wink he says, “Of course, Princess. You know, keeping all those negative feelings bottled up could lead to premature aging.”

Noya will let you cry it all out. He lets all of the blubbering and tears fall out of you, and he will listen to you for as long as you need, but the second you say, “Sorry for ugly crying” he says, “Hey, stop that!” You ask if he’s referring to the ugly crying and he instantly snorts, “No! Don’t ever call yourself ugly, because you’re not.” He places his hands on your cheeks and pulls your face towards him and declares, “Because even with all that snot dripping down your face, you’re still the prettiest person in the world!” When he says it, you just can’t help but believe him.

Bokuto makes you sit down on the floor with him and tell him what’s wrong. He listens carefully (though he doesn’t catch most of what you’re saying), nodding along as you try and speak. He knows you don’t necessarily want him to solve the problem so much as you want to vent about it, so he only interrupts to say “Wait, I can’t understand you when your nose gets all stuffy like that!” and then he holds a tissue up to you and tells you to blow into it like a toddler because that’s what Akaashi always does for him, and he kinda likes that.

Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️ And I’m so glad that you like Triptych! It’s such a special fic to me because it’s the fic that really got me back into writing after such a long break. I want to update it soon, but I’ve just been so obsessed with jjk that it’s eclipsed everything else lol

But since you like it so much, I’ll give you a couple of details:

The earliest scene we’re going to see will be Chisaki and MC’s first meeting.

The latest scene that we’ll see will be after Chisaki’s arrest.

There will be a chapter that explicitly lays out why Chisaki feels MC needs to be protected and what’s behind his obsession. 

MC will get plenty of scenes with Eri. She’ll also get scenes with Aizawa, and scenes with Midoriya and Mirio.

And I’ll also give you a couple of short snippets! (They haven’t been fully fleshed out yet, so they’re dialogue heavy.)

note: this takes place right after Chisaki’s meeting with Shigaraki, which MC was present for.

“Well?” he asked and you let out a small snort.

“I think you should have let Kurono put a bullet in the back of his head,” you said dryly and he merely raised an eyebrow. "You’re an idiot for trusting him. I think you’re an even bigger idiot for laying out your entire plan for him.”

His eyes flashed dangerously at the insult, but he remained silent. You were the only person he would ever let get away with it.

“He’ll betray the Hassaikai as soon as the opportunity presents itself.”

“Then we’ll make sure it doesn’t.”

note: this takes place the day of Chisaki and MC’s wedding.

You were having trouble breathing. 

You were having literal trouble breathing. 

Your kimono was so heavy and tied so tightly that each breath felt like it took a monumental effort. You had spent so much of your life in kimono that you could put them on blindfolded. But this? This was another beast entirely. 

“It’s a bit tight,” you winced and the two women currently in the process of wrapping the obi around your waist both softly laughed. 

“I know. It’s all a bit cumbersome,” the woman in front of you commiserated before giving you a smile so brilliant and kind that it caused your cheeks to flush. “But it’s worth it. You look beautiful, just as every bride should. Your fiancé is a lucky man.”

You let out a noncommittal hum, which was cut short by a soft grunt when the woman behind you gave your obi a particularly harsh yank. 

“How did the two of you meet?” she asked, trying to distract you from how uncomfortable you felt as they continued to tie you up in beautiful silk. 

“We grew up together,” you replied, deciding the simplest answer was the easiest. 

“Ah, so fate put you both on the same path,” she remarked, a dreamy smile on her face like she found the whole situation romantic.

“I guess so,” you murmured thoughtfully.

note: this is a tiny snippet from a conversation between Eri and MC while they’re still with the Hassaikai. 

“Have you ever seen snow, Eri?” you asked softly.

“Just a little bit,” she answered, her voice small. “But it always melts when the sun comes out.”

“Before I came here, I lived in Hokkaido where it snows every winter. There’s so much snow that they do a festival every year where they make huge statues out of it.” Eri’s eyes were with awe. “When we get out of here, I’ll take you to see the snow. I promise.”

happy valentine’s day with a silly rin twist….pulled an all-nighter to push this out! …have not slept but it was worth it! the real challenge was the editing and tweening (lol) omg💪💕i hope everyone has a great holiday ^^!
