Varinia was excited for this. It was the first time Varinia has a chance to talk to tributes outside of lunch. She went over to the corner of the training center filled with rock-climbing walls, and fake trees, and sides of buildings. The male trainer stood there, tall, lean, and nimble. Silver already beat her there, but Aelius wasn't there yet.

Felix strolled into the station, and the instructors briefed him on the program, explaining how he would have to choose edible plants on a touch pad to eliminate them all. To quote them, “It’ll be like you’re eating the edible plants! And if you get one wrong, you die!” She said it a little to enthusiastically for his liking. He stepped up to the touch pad, and began to tap away.
