I’ll publish this if you don’t mind, that way it’ll be like a general blog update for everyone.

I won’t lie, the global situation is kicking my butt and I’m in a weird funk right now regarding my art so it doesn’t help either... I’m okay, but eeeeeh :/

I want to share things, but I know they won’t be shared in the same way they used to a few years ago, and it’s kinda discouraging. And also, to share things I have to actually make them, and that’s another problem entirely.

Working on commissions is different because I don’t have to think about what I want to draw, so bless all the brilliant people who gave me awesome characters to bring to life as well as a shield against stupid thoughts. Love you lots <3

But as much as I love working on commissions, I would also like my personal art folder to grow and diversify, something that I apparently can’t do at the moment. I feel stuck and I just have to wait it out and start new files just to cancel everything after three brush strokes over and over again and I hate it.

But heh, it’ll pass I guess. Just have to wait it out and be strong.

Gender: Female

General Appearance: Tall and thin, with slightly pointed ears but otherwise soft features. Short pixie cut hair, eyes that dart across the room, and a sullen scowl always pulling at her lip.

Personality: Stubborn as an ox. Incredibly clever. Quiet and unassuming. She’s got the makings of a thief. 

Special Talents: Pickpocketing, blending in, and disappearing.

Who they take after more: Etienne

Personal Headcanon: Adopted by Ais & Etienne post-Inquisition. She was about ten when Ais & Etienne found her and she just sorta. stumbled her way into travelling with them. Neither Etienne or Ash were thrilled by the prospect, but Aislyn insisted they couldn’t let a kid get hurt or go alone. Eventually Etienne and Ash adapt to each other, but it takes time.

Ser Richard knew Etienne was Helene’s kid the moment he met him, but only realized he himself was Etienne’s father upon witnessing Etienne jump out of a third story window to save a kitten stuck in a tree. There were a lot of clues prior to that incident, but that one was the one that really hammered it in.

Etienne does a lot of shit the same way Richard does, including reckless acts of a selfless nature. It makes Richard worry to know his son’s just as much of a self-sacrificing dumbass as he is.

Frankly I looked up to my Step-Mama, Kiana, as inspiration. She taught me to play all the instruments I know. Violin is my second favorite after the piano, but it’s currently my instrument of choice as it’s much easier to carry around~
