“ADRIAN! DID YOU GET ME A BOQUET OF PINK ROSES?” Her shrieks awoke her husband, and he rubbed his eyes, he sat up and was greeted by the glowing eyes of his wife. The joy n her face was priceless.

“I did, but I didn’t expect you to wake me up” The senator muttered as he pulled his wife into his arms, a strand of hair fell ver her eyes so he gently tangled it with his fingers and he gently tucked the strand behind her ear. He stared lovingly into his eyes.

“I am sorry, I was just baking and then the delivery came and they are just so perfect, like the most perfect things ever” She squeaked and he kissed her beautiful lips, she was so perfect.

“I am glad” He chuckled and she straddled him, her arms wrapping tightly around his neck, she was eye level with this amazing man she called her husband.

“So, I guess you probably want to have some more sleep” She whispered to him softly as she kissed him again.

“I could or I could cuddle up with my beautiful wife” Adrian stroked her face as he spoke, the light of their lamp illuminated those stunning eyes of hers. How the hell he he become so lucky?

“I wouldn’t object” She smiles, and she moves her legs so she isnt straddling him and he frowns, his hands move to her hips, rubbing them softly up and down her hips.

“And where is my beautiful wife off to?” The senator frowned, but the frown was replaced with a kiss on the cheek, and a gentle caress of his face, a smile on her face.

“Just to go and grab some snacks and wine, maybe we could watch a movie together and just pretend we are the only vampires in the world” She shrugged and he chuckled, and stroked her face, god damn how on earth was she the most perfect vampire on this planet? Somehow his perfect wife knew what he needed before he even did.

“You are amazing” He uttered softly, brushing his lips against hers and she gave him a smile.

“So how does my plan sound?” She questioned, a grin on her face/

“Perfect, my love” Adrian replied and he reluctantly let her. Go to grab their snacks and wine. When she left the room, he folded his arms across his chest,,, a smile on his face, he laid back, smiling to himself, she was so special and she was his dream.

When she returned. The senator grabbed her favourite fluffy blanket and he waited for her to scoot next to him and he covered her in her blanket and he wrapped her in his arms, protectively.

“I love you so much, Adrian Raines” She whispered, as her head falls onto his shoulder.

When I realize I won’t be able to see my dumbass MC and favorite vampires next week.

Us, fools, thinking that at least Lily would appear in the cover of a special (or at least the whole gang)

I know shit is going to hit the fan. I mean, Adrian, honey, you are a terrible liar.

But I’m here for them dealing with it together.
