What does it mean to be a mom? A mom does anything possible to nurture and grow their child. Love and care for them anytime anywhere and always. For better or for worse a mom has unconditional love for their child. 

Bring a dog mom is no different. Dogs are babies for life and will not survive with out unconditional love and care. Adopting a puppy dog is a huge responsibility. Once you make this step you need to care and love them until the day you as a person dies. Dogs don’t live as long as humans so unless something happens to you physically, you are responsible for the life of your dog. 

Having a dog is a huge responsibility. If your not willing to commit yourself fully as a parent and care and love them no matter what... DO NOT GET A DOG! Once you get a dog and commit to taking care of that little baby there is no going back. You can not give the dog up or give it away for adoption or abandon them or kill them. If you think for a second you can’t handle having a dog and the restrictions it comes with, please for the sake of the dogs life, DO NOT GET A DOG! 

Dogs need loving homes with constant attention and care. You need to teach your dog, feed your dog, walk your dog, wash your dog, pick up dog poop, bring it for a hair cut, care for it, cuddle it, play with it, interact with it and most of all love it. Dogs need a lot of love and care and can be quite expensive. Bringing your dog to the vet is essential in the well being of your dog and you are responsible for that. 

Think of the dog as if it was a human baby, you would do anything possible to help and love and grow that child. A dog should be no different. 

If you are not ready to make a sacrifice in your life for the dog then you are not ready to have one in your life. 

Think long and hard before getting a dog, its a huge decision that will impact you for the rest of your life. Don’t neglect.
