Adobo Festival of Ideas (2015) Driving the Creative Economy Aside from my first Adobo event, it was also my first time in Resorts World (I know, I dont get out much). I must say the opportunity to come here was very timely. Learned so much of course and most importantly enjoyed all of the speakers' topics. Many of them debunked my own theories about current trends that I felt (too hipster, or too "milennial") to get into. So happy because I finally got to see one of Dan Matutina's talks especially. And the exclusive (naks!) footage from Alden (half of the #AlDub duo) did help peak my interest too (wink!). Also, the whole #WorkLifeBalance thing was also validated by practical advice from one of my indie local comic heroes that I didn't even know belonged to the advertising circle (as a day job). Kinda gave me an insight about my career choices (turns out I can pull a Bruce Wayne-Batman on that too). Definitely looking forward to next year's! Kudos #AdoboMagazine !
