Everybody always assumes that I'm autistic and it's pissing me off. I am not "undiagnosed autistic", I just have ADHD and was depraved of sufficient social interaction as a child. I can not speak for Autistic people, I just have ADHD and sensory issues. I'm tired of repeating it, I'm not awkward because of ASD I'm awkward because I was emotionally neglected and discouraged from making any connections outside my abuser

I'm sorry you've had to deal with this, anon. This sounds like it's been incredibly frustrating. Some people are quick to use disorders (ESPECIALLY autism, since it's been so heavily romanticized on sites like Tiktok) as a label to slap on someone for observed behaviors.
