Altaïr x Maria

This ship is canon and I adore them together! Altaïr adores Maria's fighting skills, drew her portrait in the Codex and they both were so silly in AC Bloodlines together! They were married for 33 years and could have been together even longer if it weren't for Abbas. They are both a great match, and thanks to this ship, I fell in love with Alty! I wish Ubisoft would give us more of their screentime together after AC Bloodlines and before AC Revelation.

Altaïr x Malik

This is the most popular ship in the fandom, but honestly, I don't see them as a romantic couple, but only as brothers/friends and also I headcanon Malik being in asexual spectrum (and mostly I'm being jealous lol). This may be controversial, but I find a little bit uncomfortable that Malik would be with someone who is the reason he became disabled (ILY Alty, but I think Malik deserves someone better then you or he is aroace. Sorry, hon.), but on the other hand, they both made up at the end of AC1, some fanarts of them together are pretty nice, and many of my friends/mutuals ship them together, so I'm fine with this ship, dw.

Altaïr x Maria x Malik

Even though I ship Altaïr with Maria, but not with Malik, all three together have an interesting and fun dynamic. It's a shame that Ubisoft didn't show them together much, because their only interaction together was in The Secret Crusade novel, where Altaïr and Maria rescued Malik from prison due to him being unjustly accused of murdering Sef by Abbas.

Altaïr x Adha

One of the most underrated and forgotten (canon) ships in Assassin's Creed. According to the seventh page of the Codex, Altaïr said that he wanted to leave the Brotherhood with Adha and start a normal life with her, and after her death, he thought he would never again feel for a woman as he had for her (before meeting Maria). This suggests that he adored Adha so much that she was probably the only one who understood him the most and he pursued every one of her murderers (+ Altaïr gives me demisexual vibes from this). I think that after her death, Altaïr became more arrogant and cold as a way of coping with his grief, because he didn't know how to control his emotions properly (curse you, Al Mualim!). It's a shame that this ship and Adha weren't explored further, and later Ubisoft forgot about her existence, as she wasn't mentioned at all in The Secret Crusade novel.

Altaïr x Kadar

Another underrated ship. Kadar was a great admirer of Altaïr, on the other hand, Altaïr didn't want to "babysit" him during the missions when he was an arrogant at that time. But even though they only had a few interactions, it seems to me that Altaïr was kinda friendly with Kadar like he was explaining to him why they were in Solomon's Temple, even said to him: "Watch a while longer and you might learn something." and later Altaïr felt sorry that Kadar died because of him. If Kadar hadn't died at the beginning of AC1, surely the two would have had more interactions with each other. I don't see them as a romantic couple, but honestly, I like this ship a little bit more than Altmal (maybe bcs Kadar is almost like a male version of Tami to me since they both are big Alty's fans? idk).

Altaïr x Abbas

At first, they were like brothers, but later they became rivals due to the truth about Abbas's father, who had actually committed suicide and had not left the brotherhood which Al Mualim had lied about. Since Abbas caused Altaïr so much pain, killed his loved ones, and I loathe Abbas, they would never have worked together as a couple, but I like the idea of the AUs where their fathers didn't die or Abbas got a redemption arc, they would still be the best friends.

Altaïr x Desmond

NO! NO ANCESTOR/DESCENDANT INCEST IN MY HOUSE! Alty is Desmond's x-times-great-grandpa and in my Modern AUs they are cousins!

Altaïr x Ezio

Unlike the previous one, this ship has the advantage that Ezio is not related to Altaïr (Ezio is from Desmond's father side and Altaïr is from Desmond's mother side), but I still not ship them together since they both look pretty similar in appearance. They are only buddies to me.

Altaïr x Claudia

I saw this ship from one DeviantArt user. Their artworks (mostly edited screenshots) are around 15 years old now (+ I wanted include another straight ship). I remember liking this ship a little bit, since Claudia isn't related to him, but now I think it would be uncomfortable for her that she would be with someone who looks almost exactly like her older brother. I prefer them to be just friends in Modern AU.

Altaïr x Robert de Sablé

Uh... This ship makes me very uncomfortable, since Robert is Altaïr's main nemesis and caused him so much misery. I prefer them as enemies and hope Altaïr stabs Robert in the throat.

This is a crossover ship and I'm neutral with it, because I prefer Desmond x Alex more.

Ahhh... You already know... I adore Altaïr so much ever and forever! I adore everything about him, good and bad sides. And I'm sad he's not real, but thankfully my self-insert/persona Tami Fountain is here to help. They fill my soul with joy and together are so cute and silly! They are an inseparable couple, they understand each other perfectly and comfort each other to ease their pain. I adore them both. Altami is Love, Altami is Life. <3
