My homemade red bean burger for last night's dinner! By far the best veggie burger I've ever made and tasted. This is the result of the prepared ingredients I posted yesterday. To make: mix 1 can of red kidney beans(drained and mashed with fork),1/2 cup bread crumbs,1 small carrot(grated),3 clivea of garlic(finely chopped),2 tbsps.of fresh coriander,1 tsp.of ground cumin,1/2 tsp.of red chilli,1/2 tsp.of cinnamon,salt and pepper to taste and 1 tsp.of veg.oil.Mix it well,make a small round shape of the mixture with your hand(you can make 5 to 6 patties with this),dust it with white flour,put vegetable oil in a non-stick pan,pan-fry each round for 2 minutes in both sides.Toast your bun,put 3 pieces of lettuce leaves,top with red bean patty,caramelized onion,tomato and melted cheese or you can substitute cheese with mashed avocado for more healthier version!
