imagining yu biting adachi's neck before adachi pulls him off. another act of impulse. of minor violence. adachi deserves worse, but then what does that say of him, who let him free? he wants to do Something. Anything. but he can't. not fully. its all he can do to minutely lash out.

"I love u. I hate u. I love u. I hate u. i just gave up everything for u. I just gave up my integrity for u. I hate what u've done. I hate myself for loving u in spite of it.

im a monster now. partner. partner. partner partner partner. If I sink my teeth in u like a dog, will a bite release all the anger I have. all the hatred in my heart. all the love ive felt, n still, concerningly, feel."

a Bite. a physical mark. a small act of violence. of intimacy. of closeness & hatred & anguish & desire. his only act of rebellion. of pushback. of any semblance of morality.

he ruined yu by playing him for a fool & abusing his trust by keeping his mask on, so he has to retaliate somehow. in any way he can. "partners", right? teeth. flesh. bite. impulse. anger. love. regret. bonds. heart. god. damn. it.

if he bites down hard enough, will the rage & anger & lament cement itself in the blossoming bruise on the older man's neck? will it absolve yu of the sins crawling down his back? show he fought back? didnt give in to his heart? his last shred of justice?

adachi is so close. his hand is fisted in the man's shirt collar. his heart hurts. his skin burns. like the paper that was in his hands.

tighten the noose. let the bruise blossom. a ring of teeth marks. an eye for an eye. (but its not, not rly. nothing could ever compare to the impact adachi left on him. & the sins adachi had committed. but hes complicit in them now.)
