I was genuinely worried about which was going to be MJF's third act as AEW's World heavyweight champion, because his two first arcs as champion had enough time to build momentum and deliver a great match against first Bryan Danielson and Second against the Pillars of AEW, because of that i was so disappointed that the first match of MJF against Adam Cole had no build-up whatsoever, but i was wrong, and i'm gladly i was wrong about it, because the current storyline let us explore MJF's character in a whole different level, trying really hard to be a good friend to Adam Cole, hangin' out on the weekends, getting worried about his sickness, trying to respect his boundaries, but failling miserable at it, even givin' him an special party for his birthday, this is the closest we've seen to a "Good Guy MJF", but he's definitely still a Heel that would cheat and betray to retain his title no matter what, Lovin' It
August 27th, 2023 -- Wembley Stadium in London, England: AEW made history on this night with over 80 thousand fans there to witness AEW's biggest moment in its short history. The card was main evented by MJF defending the AEW World Championship against his new found best friend Adam Cole in an amazing match which saw MJF walk out still the champion.

The Era is over?
After having a few days to contemplate what happened after the main event at NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day, I still cannot comprehend what is going on. As a long term fan, since way before their NXT days, it broke me. To me, it resembled when Seth Rollins turned heel on his Shield brothers and aligned himself with The Authority in 2014.
There is one good thing to come out of this... We are almost guaranteed some 5* matches, whether it is Cole vs OβReilly, Cole vs Balor or even a triple threat between the three. Hell, Iβd be so down for a fatal 4way between the Era boys, if that is where it is eventually headed. Or, depending on where Strongβs allegiance lies, maybe Cole & Strong vs Fish and OβReilly, when Bobby comes back from injury.
Thereβs no way that this was to get Cole onto the main roster. Personally, I think he would be lost in the shuffle, unless he was to come up and align himself with AJ Styles.
Who knows what the future holds? I guess we will find out tomorrow night on NXT.
One thing is for sure... Adam Cole definitely shocked the system Sunday night.
And that is undisputed baybay.
