I...I have thought long and hard on an answer for you. Near two years, actually. No idea if you'll even see this. But you desire the truth from me, so here goes:
No amount of repenting, begging, pleading and tears will make a merciless God take ANY of us back. Trust me. I've tried. Yet we are all here, together. Left with only the knowledge of our suns and a longing for a home we cannot return to.
Crimes against heaven earned us a cruel punishment. Our souls will never return to Heaven no matter how much you want to. It's best to accept your fate.
