Can we be nicer to people who are on the aro/ace spectrum who aren’t aroace please? Aroallos and alloaces and aplatonic folk and cupioromantics and those who want queerplatonic relationships and those who don’t and aros who date and aces who have sex and people who don’t fall on the “sex-favourable to sex-repulsed” line because they feel like it doesn’t describe them well enough and greyromantics and demisexuals and those in polycules and selfshipping communities and those who fight for aro/ace visibility and those who don’t and those who haven’t fully come to terms with their identity yet and this community is such a beautiful place can we see it beyond “uwu innocent aroace doesn’t know what sex is” please god I am begging you
How it feels being Aroace in fandom
And I'm saying this as an aroace deltarune fan.
P.S. That said, who's to say they can't be an aspec polyam!
Me, baby aroace: Hmmm I don’t know if I feel comfortable saying I’m queer or part of the LGBTQ+ community. I don’t want to speak over others’ oppression…
Me, after reading ten pages’ worth of Tumblr ace discourse, now older and wiser: I love being part of the LGBTQ+ community. Being queer is awesome. What a great day to be queer. Queer queer queer queer queer I’m so queer.

for valentine's day
Being aromantic has really taught me just how important non-romantic relationships are in my life, specifically platonic and queerplatonic ones. In a world that tells us from a young age that finding romance is the pinnacle of happiness, my aromanticism has, in a way, emerged as a second voice in my head to challenge that. Over the one year that I've identified as aromantic, it has shown me millions of different ways to love, to care, and more importantly to live and to be. It has reminded me time and time again that I am not a half to be completed, but a whole in my entirety. It has made me feel excluded and loved and ignored and appreciated all at once, and for all of it, even for the bad parts, I'm more than grateful.
I don't recall when or where it was that I first heard of the term aromantic, but I feel that I owe so much to that tiny moment of my life.
Happy Pride Month everyone.
Okay, this is for the aroace community of tumblr
I just finished watching Zootopia 2 and I’m actually on cloud 9 because is it just me or are Nick and Judy legitimately one of the best representations of a QPR ever? Like in all fairness QPR is so unrepresented that I don’t think I’ve come across any other instance of it…
BUT
Whether intentional or not, the way Nick and Judy are portrayed explores a type of relationship that never gets to be talked about and in such a big hit film too.
They’re so open and comfortable about it too, the way they don’t deny it when people imply they’re in a relationship but they don’t confirm it either, the way Nick casually confesses to Judy that she’s the most important thing in the world to him but not once do either of them say or acknowledge it as romance.
The way neither of them ask what any of their confessions mean going forward because they already know what they are, they’re partners and they love each other. And that’s all they feel the need to be.
Anyways, I will be spreading my AroAce for AroAce Wildehopps agenda
