#actual progress

Starting with squats - it was worded like this, which made me laugh:

"20 with feet together - 20 with feet at hip width - and 20 on a Saturday night!" and then he spread his legs super wide and laughed. What a dufus.

Then we did the spin bike - doing that thing I hate when they take off the seats and then you need to lean forward on the bars and drop your knees? This kills me every time and I don't see ANY improvement on this - my legs don't seem to work that way.

Burpies and Squats as well - we did a circuit of the spin, burpies and squats for a minute each, 3 reps.

I still really, really struggle with burpies. I don't know why but it feels like my balance is waaay off and I wobble like mad.

Then we had walking lunges for 10 laps - holding weights. 4lbs x2 for me. I was super slow here - wobble wobble - but I stuck at it even though I was a full 2 laps behind everyone else. I figured ending early just fucks ME over, and I'm trying to focus more on doing it right. Roy didn't mind at all - there was only 1 other girl in my time-slot today, so he just told her to have a drink and rest.

Then we hand to face the wall and put our hands on it like we were being frisked, and walk back a bit so we were really leaning on the wall with our feet back. Then we had to push up onto our toes and push the hips forward, really slow and hold for 10 seconds. We did like, 10 of these slow holds, and I was feeling it in my butt, I tell ya.

Then we had to like, pump up and down as fast as possible with no holding the position and HOLY SHIT. My fucking calves burn like they are on FIRE, my arches in my feet were screaming - this was HARD AS SHIT but not painful (I need to keep saying that more - it doesn't hurt but it hurts? It's really weird to describe)

Anyway - got my High Five and Done!
