SCRIPTURE:
Every day they continued to teach and proclaim the good news that Jesus is the Christ, both in the temple and in houses. ~ Acts of the Apostles 5:42
OBSERVATION:
Every day...
...they continued...
...to teach and proclaim...
...the good news...
...in the temple - publicly...
...and in houses - privately...
...Jesus IS the Christ...
And me?
Do I continue teaching and proclaiming, publicly and privately, the good news about Jesus?
Have I really started?
Have I taken my place to tell everything about my new life? (verse 20)
...about the change in my heart and life? (verse 31)
...about the forgiveness of my sins? (verse 31)
APPLICATION:
Every day continue to teach and proclaim the good news that Jesus is the Christ!
"Go, take [my] place...and tell...everything about this new life." (verse 20)
"...obey God rather than humans!" (verse 29)
"...change [my] heart and life to find forgiveness for sins." (verse 31)
PRAYER:
Lord God - please forgive my failure to teach and proclaim Your Good News continuously - May Your Holy Spirit remind and strengthen me at every opportunity, both publicly and privately - to share what You are doing in my life, giving thanks and honor to Your Name and to Your Son Jesus - In His Name, and for Your glory, today and always...
