THE CORE FOUR : meet the cast of Shatter Me.
the news is out! the cast of acclaimed author tahereh mafi's famously beloved dystopian series, shatter me, is here!
the well-known juliette selin-jackson (top left) will be portraying our favorite main heroine juliette ferrars! coincidence she has the same first name as her character? we certainly don't think so!
selin-jackson also originated her short role as lady jane grey in netflix's series about the tudors, and is now making a massive breakthrough as the main protagonist of this series. know anything else about her? that's right! she's the love of pop king michael jackson's life! we still can't believe our two worlds are colliding!
she was born in chicago, illinois and raised in a pakistani-american household.
jeremy sato (top right) will be playing the iconic and hilarious kenji kishimoto. much like his character, jeremy is known for his humorous and contagious personality on social media. he chose to pursue acting at 16, and with a few successful short films he ultimately decided to shoot for the stars and audition for shatter me. we are so excited to have him as our kenji!
anaya khan (bottom left) is our gorgeous, badass daughter of the supreme commander of asia, aka nazeera ibrahim! she is currently dominating the social media scene on instagram and tiktok with her super bold fashion and makeup choices that align perfectly with her character, as well as proudly representing her pakistani and iraqi cultures. she has previously played princess jasmine in the live-action aladdin, making shatter me her second live-action adaptation.
and last but certainly not least, the fan-favorite heartthrob, aaron warner anderson, will be played by jeremy douffeure (bottom right). he's been behind the scenes of many productions, but now he's decided it's time for him to be in front of the camera. we can't wait to see how he'll bring the son of the supreme commander of north america to life!
we are so incredibly hyped for this adaptation and to get to know more about our core four in the coming weeks. keep an eye out for individual interviews, right here on e! news!
