Probably one of those two. But with Sora I remember in an interview it was accidental said that he'd be in future titles
I remember the interview, I think he also said that Sora would always be the protagonist if it’s the one I think it is. But I’ve also got a liberal interpretation of that. It could simply be that Sora’s presence will be felt throughout the game. Sora is still in the game, but not quite there, plus Sora is my most likely to be a fake death. So he could still die and come back in the next game, not like Sora hasn’t died already.
