Usually, I don't like updated homes, but this one looks good, and you can still tell that it's an MCM, but it's been kicked up a notch.

Turning down a short hall, you pass through the dining room and there's a fireplace.

Going straight ahead, there's the living room and double-sided fireplace.

Through a glass wall there's a view of the deck and garden.

The remodeled kitchen has new mid century modern style cabinets and counters.

In this corner there's a classic MCM Swedish fireplace and a door to the deck.

The spacious primary bedroom is basically original.

The renovated bath has a vintage reproduction tub that is a Victorian era throwback.

One of the bedrooms is used as a den.

The rec room has bar, a fireplace, and a 1920 speakeasy look.

The smaller bedroom is still a good size and was fitted with a sliding industrial style door.

The home office has some nice wallpaper.

In the back there's a deck over the patio.

There's also a large flagstone patio.

And, back here, there's a cute little A Frame hut.

The outer grounds are incredible. First, there's this large working fountain out front, with 2 adorable burro statues. The outer grounds are amazing.

They have plenty of seating at the table or counter. I always wonder how one mops this expanse of floor- is there a ride-on mop?

A beautiful indoor pool facilitates year-round swimming. It must be fun to go for a swim when the grounds outside are covered in snow.

This must be the primary suite.

It has a nice terrace. Look at the whimsical railing.

Like the way this is designed and the ivy going over the wall.

Here they have a family TV room and a handball court behind a glass wall.

And, there's also a basketball court.

And, a beautifully decorated, tiered, home theater.

Looks like they have one of the giant chess boards, too. I also like the tower. I wish they would've had more photos. 1.5acre lot.
