Generally speaking I usually talk about her as the "The Solitary" which is her orphan 18 self struggling and fighting for a grasp or scrap of control or power over anything. She's the Solitary because her connections are shallow and entirely discardable; she doesn't need any one person, because any other can take their place. (Not that she doesn't have attachment to those relationships- she's just willing to give them up to keep the appearance of no attachment. Keeping herself shielded, and all that. It wouldn't help her to let anyone know she's capable of being hurt in a way that matters.)

Whereas with Singularity Enola. Whose got her own agency and agenda and control over herself (and given position at the temple; over others). She's not desperately grasping for any scrap she can get. The connections she does have are valuable to her. Those relationships have meaning, and she'd rather mutually assured destruction than give up on any of them. (E.G becomes vastly more possessive over Emery; she was a tool and an extension of Enola before but becomes someone that you can't admit to looking at the wrong way without Enola getting pissy.) There's an actual chance at being respected as a person (if not as an equal. Beat her fairly at cards if you want to be seen as an equal.) A chance at her going out of her way to help out in minor ways without actually expecting recompense (not that she'd say that.) Though with those boons Enola would not be Enola if she wasn't actually SO WILLING to fuck up someone else's psyche.
