Pretty prime example of some of the nutty places that people were capable of taking techno in 1994. UK duo Andy Smith and Simon Donohue had released a record the year prior under the name of Esoterica, but following that, they changed to Sunrise Society and became a fixture of London's Pacific Records. This was the first song on the first release that they issued under their new name, which Dave Angel then incorporated into his own X-Mix-4 set in '95 too. Crazy sound that definitely evokes someone like Richie Hawtin from Canada, and really shows just how blank of a canvas techno is as a music genre. Mind-bending workout.
