BOGO BIRTHDAY

       The fragility of glass cradled softly in her hand, condensation dripping, champagne with strawberry bits. Head piqued to the side, staring at the etchings of rough drafts framed behind glass, someone is close. Ever hair stands on edge, the glass held too tight as if it might shatter. Delicate jewelry that appeared like gold lace etched into pale skin, striking green eyes, a figure that is too tight as if not well adjusted to the skin she wore just yet. “They’re composition sketches" the warmth of her voice akin to sweet honey dripping with curiosity. “I think the artist recently said he had no new pieces to exhibit, it’s bold, even cheeky” laughter that echoes as she shakes her head. 

    ❀ THE  LIGHT  FLICKERS,  A  SINGULAR  OCULAR  THAT  MOVES  SLOWLY;  languid  in  motion  as  the  echo  of  synthetic  pop  music  rattles  in  her  skull.  Overly  friendly  with  the  most  manicured  of  smiles  in  shiny  vinyl  lips,  a  hand  that  raises  itself,  “Just  one  today?  Boring, @achroanimus”  her  voice,  sing-song  in  motion.  Miss  Spider  the  children  call  her,   she  laughs  nervously  playing  it  off  as  merely  the  motifs  of  the  creature  on  her  clothing  -  today’s  attire  consists  of  a  black  dress  and  web  tights,  perfect!  Trays  with  gourmet  desserts,  fresh  bread,  coffee  cups  in  the  millions,  she  carries  them  with  ease. 

        ANOTHER CUP OF COFFEE, enough to make his teeth vibrate. The monitors are becoming a blur, his head starts to ache, the tincture is small with a cute impression of a favorite cartoon, what’s the name? Satoru doesn’t remember. It’s methodical, the way his spidery digits pop the different pills, temporary relief that is always followed one day, his stomach && brain will give out, he wasn’t sure which. “I feel as if us having coffee is an oddity or something waiting to happen, @achroanimus” he smiles, it never quite matches the depth of his stormy blue eyes, artificial as it is taxing - just like everything in this utopia landscape of theirs.
