A few days had passed since the whole fiasco in the alley with the bat, and dropping Mr. Beat-Up-Guy off at the hospital. Tommy hadn’t heard a word about it, seen anything on the news, or anything else. He assumed that no news was good news, and like everything that didn’t immediately matter again, pushed it right out of his mind. 

He’d gone to pick up something for dinner and lingered a little too long, distracted by the million different flavors of ice-cream in the freezer section. By the time he left, he’d bought only ice-cream and nothing for dinner, which he already knew Billy would inform him of as soon as he saw the bags. 

But Billy wasn’t there when he got back, and since there was no sign of Cricket, either, he was left to assume that his brother had taken his dog for a walk. More ice-cream for him, then. He sat down with a carton and a spoon, ready to watch Netflix until it asked him if he was still there. 

“Hey--” Charlie’s loud voice called as she heard the damn door to the diner open. Damn. She should have locked that rght when they had closed. “Unless you want a coffee to go or the last slice of apple pie, we’re closed.” Charlie stuck her head out from the back, continuing to chatter. “You know, though, I don’t rec the pie because it kinda tastes like one of those sugar things and- oh. Hey. Uh--” Smooth, Charlie. This was going to just go fantastic. “So about that pie...”

When Isabella arrived at Joker’s club, she immediately walked over to where he was sitting. She had arranged the meeting by text, telling him that she wanted to discuss a very interesting girl who went by the moniker of “Joker’s Daughter”, whom she had run into.

Though she knew it might have been short-sighted to discuss Duela Dent with him, after what Harley had said, but curiosity won out over logic, in this case. Duela was a fascinating character study, and Isabella wanted to discuss her with Joker, to glean his opinion on the girl, and see if he even knew she was in the city.

She hadn’t seen him since he had informed her of what Edward had done. In hindsight, she didn’t harbour any anger towards him. Whatever his motivation was for telling her that Ed had killed someone, she was actually rather grateful. Now she knew. She was sure that Ed would have told her eventually, but Joker had forced his hand, and now she and Ed were closer because of it.

As she’d expected, she was stopped by Joker’s bodyguards, and she sighed to herself and folded her arms. “I have an appointment,” she said, coolly. There was something so incredibly refreshing about not having to be polite. With Joker, there was no pretence. She didn’t need to be twee. There was no need for social niceties, or empty conversations. It was such a relief. So, she stood in front of the bodyguards impatiently, and waited for his signal to allow her through.

    she had to be honest, this wasn’t her normal place to be. kara had never been much of a drinker of party girl either. –––– high school had been alright;; the friends she made had been the kind of people to have fun without alcohol.  kara could of corse do it sometimes and even enjoy it as well too. the plan was to meet up with her sister and they would find something after. so now supergirl stood outside a club she had never been to before ALONE waiting for alex.  this club did not seem like the finest of them all. but if kara knew her sister right; alex had more then just having fun in store when she went to a club like this. alex was married to her work almost. lucky for her, kara did mind waiting outside alone, leaning to the wall. after all, she was supergirl

"’M sick of all your yammerin’. Gimme one good reason why I shouldn’t roast you right now.” It was just his luck that he’d run into the Joker of all people. Mick’s been out of the crime business for a while now, really not expecting to see the freaky make-up and crap smile. And his speeches were worse than Snart’s.
